Want to stop bullying by kids? Stop it in campaign ads

Bullying is demeaning, degrading and harmful. All adults agree that it is important to show kids how wrong that behavior is. That we need to be respectful of each other and tolerant of other's differences - even embrace those differences.
That is, unless you are a politician. We've seen finger-pointing and angry blame and no real solutions to real problems. It is the fault of local government that the stock market crashed; it is the fault of one person alone that taxes are high. Anyone who disagrees with you, has a different faith belief, sexuality or isn't in your party is bad and must to be decimated at all costs. It's not unlike junior high.
Want to know what Independent voters want? We want action. We want someone, anyone, who will reach across the aisle and solve a problem. Someone who will take action on a good idea rather than point fingers and call it bad because his/her buddies didn't come up with the idea first. Someone who will have that good idea in the first place!
But above all, someone who is more interested in the welfare of all Americans (not just those of his/her party) than in political bullying.
I would like to ask the politicians and special interest groups to watch their own ads and then answer honestly if they would want children to behave in this same manner. Consider the example being set for children.
Want to stop bullying in schools? Stop political bullying.
