Walmart was moving against guns before El Paso

What prompted Walmart recently to ban open carry, stop selling handguns, handgun ammunition and certain types of rifles and their ammunition? Most people think of the Aug. 3 mass shooting in an El Paso Walmart as the obvious reason. But is it?
Buried deep in corporate.walmart.com/policies is a section titled Firearms and Ammunition Guidelines. Within that section is an innocuous sounding statement, ' Walmart is a charter member of the Responsible Firearms Retailer Partnership, organized by Walmart and Everytown for Gun Safety.”
What is Everytown for Gun Safety? It's only the biggest anti-gun lobby in the country and funds almost every anti-Second Amendment proposal in our nations state capitols. It was founded by none other than Michael Bloomberg. Like all liberals, he thinks more gun laws that disarm law abiding citizens will make our society safer.
So the El Paso shooting may have hastened Walmart's recent anti-Second Amendment policy changes, but when it partnered with Everytown for Gun Safety, the die had already been cast.
What Bloomberg and other liberal elites fail to accept is that America doesn't need better gun laws, it needs better people and Jesus Christ is the only one who can make better people.
