Wake up, Cedar Rapids, and smell the money

I am really fed up with the do-gooders telling us that we do not want a casino in Cedar Rapids.
All of the Cedar Rapids gambling money is going to areas outside Cedar Rapids. The city does not get any revenue from this exodus of money. Wake up, Cedar Rapids, and smell the money.
The latest example of a do-gooder is Renee Otto. What kind of person would say (in Oct. 4 story) that people who gamble don't buy coats for their kids and don't buy cars or appliances? This is one of the most idiotic statements that I have heard concerning gambling.
