Voting for Jacoby keeps Corridor strong
May. 9, 2010 12:21 am
Dave Jacoby faces a challenger in the June 8 primary for re-election to state representative House District 30. We need Dave in Des Moines working for all of us in the Corridor.
Dave has been a thoughtful and tireless representative and a key player in the efforts to have our legislative delegation from the Corridor work together on issues. These last two years have been incredibly difficult for so many in the Corridor, but Dave has worked collaboratively to help all our communities recover, assisting in obtaining significant dollars for Corridor communities.
While I do not agree with Dave on every issue, he is always open and honest in discussing those differences. That is a rare trait these days. Dave votes for what he believes in, even if it is not popular among everyone around him - another rare, but important trait.
Please vote for Dave. Doing so will keep the ties within the Corridor strong.
