Votes let people determine U.S. course

Lesson regarding the conservative agenda: Since Reaganomics, conservatives have done much to attack those least able to defend themselves while doing virtually all they could to defend those whose resources/political clout already advantaged them in ways most Americans can only dream.
Why the assault on those whose incomes are not in the upper tiers?
Lesson regarding the liberal agenda: Ever since the Kennedy administration, liberals have done much to defend those less advantaged and, on occasion, attacked those who actually have means to defend themselves. While Democrats have fallen short, at times, and not been passionate, at times, they will take on the powerful.
What is the result of this?
The so-called class warfare has long ago been won, by a knockout.
America will soon, if not already, resemble a Third World nation - albeit, in somewhat better shape than most since our resources are so immense that the means to alleviate at least some of the inequalities has enabled those less off to seek some semblance of cover.
But with the continued assault on the middle class - (the lower classes, not having any clout, were long ago vanquished) - we see the gaps between the very rich and the remaining majority increase alarmingly.
How do we get some semblance of fairness and equality? Vote!
As the current fight in Wisconsin reveals, the vast majority of us can still determine our course, but we have to stop allowing wedge issues to blind us from our economic self-interests.
