Voters will remember disregard for county
The Gazette Opinion Staff

The Linn County Board of Supervisors (with the exception on Ben Rogers) has decided that the lives of those who live in the county but not in the metro area are not worth protecting. They have decided that the county can do without the lifesaving EMT squad operated by the sheriff's department.
The supervisors would do well to remember that we hicks out here in the country do have the right to vote and I, for one, will be voting for anyone who opposes any of them.
Thank you, Ben Rogers, for trying to save this resource, and kudos to the sheriff for trying to find ways to save it within his budget.
