Several countries around the world provide some form of universal health care, where the government ensures that all citizens have access to basic health services, often regardless of their income or employment status. But not us!
Republicans claim they’re working on a health care plan to replace ACA but when push comes to shove, it’s not there. President Donald Trump even admitted at one time the issues are very complicated.
Let’s all say this at the same time, “There is a health care plan that’s already poking us in the eye and it’s called Medicare.” Oh I know, Republicans hate to hear this because of the cost and whatever else they can think of. Maybe they just don’t care.
Universal health care is not a new invention. Twenty other countries provide universal health care to their people. But not us! The Republican Party provides tax cuts for billionaires, millionaires, and poor millionaires, to further enrich themselves.
And these tax cuts provide no means to help health care. The rich have their own. Overall, total estimated loss of this revenue from President Donald Trump’s tax plans could be around $4.5 trillion or more over a 10-year period. The solution, remove these tax benefits by requiring all to take part in funding our system including Medicare’s universal health care. And no excuses from anyone!
