Voters needed Grassley to debate Conlin

There will not be any commercial televised political debates between Sen. Grassley and his opponent, Roxanne Conlin. Sen. Grassley agreed to one radio debate; Iowa Public Television is taping and showing that.
Several news organizations have volunteered to sponsor a televised debate for these two candidates for Iowa's Senate seat, but Sen. Grassley has repeatedly refused to take advantage of this opportunity.
From the Iowa voter's point of view, we obtain some of our more reliable information from a well-moderated debate, as opposed to the odious TV and radio sound bites.
