Vote yes to provide protection for home

My husband and I were both born at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids and our two sons also were born there. We are proud to call Cedar Rapids home.
While our family was blessed to not be directly impacted by the flood of 2008, our hearts were still broken to see the devastation. So many familiar landmarks were wiped out. So many families were made homeless.
We are voting “yes” to extending the local-option sales tax on March 6 for flood protection.
