Vote yes to protect both sides of river

It is hard to believe that after suffering a natural disaster such as ours that we, as a community, would consider constructing a partial solution to future such problems.
To protect one side of the downtown and not the other simply relegates business and personal investments, and the vitality created by such, to roughly half of the viable real estate in the heart of our community.
It also sends a disturbing message to those who must go unprotected, that business and personal property once so critical to our community's vitality no longer matter. Vote “yes” on the sales tax extension and show your support of protection for both sides of the river.
