Vote to replace all incumbents

When Ron Corbett first ran for mayor, he referred to the City Council as a “culture of delay.” He now ignores council member Scott Olson, renowned expert in commercial real estate. He says the council did not want to be “a fader” or a “maintainer,” but wanted to be a “gainer.” He then convinces his loyal followers on the council to approve more subsidies for the rich.
Although the extension of the tax may be the best way to assure the streets are fixed, we first need to make sure that a new council is in place and that Corbett is out. There will be time to revisit the street issue once we have a council in place that doesn't close streets or buy hotels while giving tax breaks to selected people and expecting the working class to pick up the tab.
Corbett does what he wants because he has created a City Council where he controls the majority. He really can't be trusted to do what the citizens want. This council has become the “culture of decay.” Vote to replace all the incumbents and vote “no' to the sales tax extension.
