Vote for Brent Oleson for Supervisor
Dan L. Biechler
Oct. 15, 2018 1:00 am
Brent Oleson continues to be Linn County's champion and advocate for countless road and bridge, conservation, water quality, natural resources protection and outdoor recreational projects. Brent has a passion for providing quality parks and nature areas - including the recent addition of more than 300 acres to Squaw Creek County Park, a gem in the county's park system. He has a robust desire to make Linn County a better place to visit, live, work and recreate.
Through Brent's leadership and inspiring and impactful vision, he has:
1) Supported the ballot for the 2016 bond measure for water quality projects, park improvements, and trail development. (Bond measure passed overwhelming by 74 percent of Linn County voters.);
2) Helped to maintain the County's AAA bond rating and award-winning budgeting practices;
3) Advocated for one of the lowest property tax levies of Iowa's urban counties; and
4) Supported fully funding the County's secondary road system and budgeting for future road and bridge projects.
Please join me and others in voting for Brent Oleson for Linn County Supervisor on Nov. 6. Together we can make a difference. Please support Brent as he continues to work hard to improve the quality of life that we desire, demand, and deserve in Linn County.
