Vote Bennett for Senate District 39

I have known state Rep. Liz Bennett since 2012. I was immediately impressed with Liz. Two years later I agreed to manage Liz Bennett’s campaign for the Iowa House. In the eight years Liz has served Iowa House District 65 she has worked tirelessly for the district. Liz doesn’t merely serve the district while the legislature is in session. Whether it is sand bagging during the 2016 flooding, helping people after the derecho, or showing up to rallies after gun violence, the death of George Floyd, and too many events to list, Liz has been there.
When Rob Hogg announced his retirement I was one of many who encouraged Liz to run for his State Senate seat. At the recent League of Women Voters debate Liz’s opponent in the Democratic primary was very complimentary of Liz’s hard work in the Iowa House. He repeatedly stated he agreed with Liz’s answer to a question, and several times admitted he doesn’t have a record to run on, and that Liz has worked hard, or has a good record on the topic of the debate question.
For the last eight years Liz has worked hard for Iowa House District 65 and will continue to do so in the Iowa Senate. I ask that you vote for Liz Bennett in the June 7 Democratic primary for State Senate District 39.
