Veteran thanks man for his generosity

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the organizations, businesses and personnel who made a great Veterans Day for all the veterans. We enjoyed a free breakfast, lunch and carwashes at no cost to any veteran.
I especially would like to thank the young man at the Marion Ace Hardware store on Veterans Day. I stopped in for a small purchase and found out I forgot my wallet when I went to pay for my purchase. He asked how much I had as I was counting the change in my pocket. He saw that I was close to the purchase price and reached into his pocket to pay the difference.
