Veteran returns from Honor Flight to moving reception

To the people of Cedar Rapids,
I wish to thank you so very much for your very warm welcome home from the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. at your airport on May 28. Hundreds of your fine people and your police force were there to meet us at a late hour. I was in tears with your welcome and thanks.
I will remember and be thankful forever for that great welcome. It will always remain one of the greatest days of my life. With great respect, thank you.
