Vet will never forget Honor Flight

I was one of the lucky veterans who was chosen for the most recent Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.
I, along with the other veterans, received the VIP treatment the whole way, and I feel incredibly blessed and honored to have made the trip.
Thank you to everyone who made my trip possible. How neat to receive letters from school children at the World War II Memorial and then to have the huge reception waiting for us at The Eastern Iowa Airport.
What an incredible experience and a day I will never forget.
