Veridian committed to wellness in the workplace

I want to congratulate Veridian Credit Union for achieving the Gold Well Workplace award from the Wellness Council of America. Veridian's commitment to maximizing the well-being of its employees has paid off in so many ways. Not only has Veridian created a healthy work environment, it has entered into the ranks of America's healthiest companies.
It was an honor for Maria Drees, our health promotion and wellness consultant, and me to work alongside and witness the dedication of Veridian's CU Fit wellness committee as they developed a wellness plan to ensure Veridian's employees have the tools they need to improve their well-being and health. It was equally rewarding to witness many of their employees meet their individual health and fitness goals.
At Group Benefits Design, we are proud to have been part of this collaborative effort, which began with Veridian's executive vision and employee planning and implementation. On behalf of the Blue Zones Community, I encourage other businesses to follow Veridian's lead and commit to making wellness a priority in the workplace.
