Vander Plaats’ actions reveal his selfishness

I am disgusted by the naked greed and ambition displayed by the Bob Vander Plaats campaign and his biggest supporters. They have made it abundantly clear that they agree completely with Terry Branstad's policy priorities, yet they feel compelled to work toward his defeat anyway simply because they won't be the ones in control of the levers of power.

I don't think that the rank-and-file members of groups like Iowa Family Policy Center care who addresses their concerns so long as they get addressed. Their leadership has betrayed them by working toward a Democratic victory this fall instead of uniting behind the man who actually agrees with them. It's all about money and power to these people.

How pathetic.
