Using eminent domain for pipelines is wrong

In Sioux City Gov. Kim Reynolds made a campaign stop recently. The following quote comes from the website of KTIV in Sioux City, with Reynolds speaking about CO2 pipelines and the possible use of eminent domain.
“We worked really hard to get significant language into Iowa code to make sure that we were protecting our farmers that there was a process in place where that they were not only protected but they were adequately reimbursed if for some reason, you know, we had to use eminent domain,” said Reynolds.
What does she mean using the word "we?“ How much campaign contributions does she receive from the pipeline and ethanol interests? The use of eminent domain by private companies is just plain wrong.
This is an issue Democrats should exploit. I have always supported Republicans but I will not support any Republican that is in favor of eminent domain use by private companies.
