Use taxpayer money for repairing streets, trails
The Gazette Opinion Staff

The City of Cedar Rapids has been spending taxpayer money left and right on projects that are not needed.
The money could be used for repairing residential and downtown streets and repairing areas that taxpayers use, such as the Cedar Valley Nature Trail. The new convention center is a great idea but is not needed right now.
