Urban Farm Day Camp a fun time

To the editor:
Our granddaughters spent a day at Matthew 25's Urban Farm Day Camp and loved it! They had a wonderful time in the garden-surrounded playscape play area, harvesting vegetables, making salsa, snacking on fresh produce, creating a garden-related craft, making new friends and spending time with fabulous young adult counselors.
There is another Urban Farm Day Camp on Aug. 5 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade and there is also a weeklong farm camp for older elementary students from July 27-31. Additional information is available at www.hub25.org
