Unions are far from being ‘parasites’

Regarding Bill Strilich's March 12 letter titled, “Rich attacked by unions are helping economy” I wondered what the heck is he talking about. I do believe it is the rich-backed Republican Party that finds fault with unions, not the unions finding fault with the rich.
I have been a union member for 20 years. I feel like rich people should get the same treatment as I do including being forced to pay their share of taxes as well as giving them the right to collective bargaining.
Here's an excerpt from Strilich's piece, “Union leaders preach their sermons of attacking the rich businesses. Yet they will not admit such entities provide the jobs that feed the economy while union parasites drain the lifeblood from the economy.” Really Bill, a parasite? If any of you reading this are police officers, teachers or road workers and you belong to a union remember, Strilich says “you are a parasite.” Look Bill, I'm the president of my union local and I don't preach sermons, so stop lying.
Management still abuses their workers. Guys like Bill give the rich a bad name. Vote Democrat in the next election.
