UI football program is in decline

First let me say as a University of Iowa graduate, I appreciate the past work of Kirk Ferentz and his staff. However, after watching the program from afar the last few years, one has to wonder as to the direction the program is heading.
Most recently, the two games against Ball State and Iowa State University were an embarrassment. It is apparent to this Hawkeye fan the program is in decline.
If I performed at my profession in the same manner as the current Hawkeye coaching staff, I would be fired. Having the 10th highest paid coach (2014 Figures) in NCAA Division I, and accepting the current results, does not make sense. I believe it is time for a change. When will the rest of Hawkeye nation have the courage to make a change as well?
