U.S. truly created violent state of affairs
The Gazette Opinion Staff

When President Obama accepted his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, he said that war was “just” at times, referring to Afghanistan. He said, “A non-violent movement could not have halted Hitler's armies.”
That's true. Non-violence is not a one-size-fits-all solution, but reflect for a moment upon the way Muslim people and their lands have been historically treated, and are still treated.
Suppose that the global economy, which employs billions of people to concentrate the wealth of the planet in the hands of few, did not infiltrate the Muslim lands seeking their oil, propping up dictators in pursuit of that oil, unconditionally supporting Israeli ethnic cleansing of Palestine. There would be no
crazed Muslim jihadists trying, with despicable methods, to drive the West out.
Who created the political manipulation and covert wars to dominate and control the world? Who created this violent state of affairs? We only need look in the mirror.
