U.S. needs a president with business experience
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Three years ago, America took a risk on electing a president with no business/economic/foreign policy experience. We did it because he was a polished, professional campaigner/speaker. He had nothing else to offer. After three years, Americans are realizing what a huge mistake we made. We have gone from a bad situation to a catastrophic situation economically and are laughed at by our enemies.
Our president and his liberal team have blamed (former president) George Bush for years, then blamed Europe and now want us to believe it's the corporations/successful hardworking people's fault. But the corporations/successful people are the only ones that have kept us from total collapse.
Here we are with a president praising demonstrations of divisiveness/anger/socialism, when what a president should be doing is uniting. Obama's theme of can-do has now changed to clueless. Obama's solution of spending/debt has done nothing other than put our children/grandchildren in a generational hole.
And how can any of us blame a corporation or successful individual from hiding in a corner, saving their money with no confidence to invest or spend with this atmosphere of socialism/higher taxes/regulations/government takeover?
Our survival as the greatest, most respected country in the world demands a leader with business/economic experience since that is exactly what the USA is - a huge corporate entity that has to be lead by an individual knowing how to do that.
