Two published photos in heartbreaking contrast

Two pictures accompanied the article “Iowa transgender girls banned from girls’ sports” in the March 4 edition of The Gazette. The pictures stand in stark contrast and both heartbreaking. One shows the governor signing House File 2416 into law, surrounded by a crowd of smiling young girls who are being “protected” from the perceived unfairness of transgender girls participating in sports. The other picture shows Becky Smith, head bowed, standing behind her transgender pride flag as she courageously bears witness to the injustice of this law. Jesus is standing in this picture as well. If the eyes of your hearts are unable to perceive Jesus' presence, reading Matthew 25:31-46 might be of some help.
