Trump's main goal is Make America Great Again. What does “again” mean? During World War II, Eisenhower learned the value of leading small countries to work together. Result, they won World War II. Against Eisenhower's counsel, Republican Robert Taft planned to run for president and run the country in the old divided ways. Eisenhower ran and won. His plan was to bring others together.
To start, President Eisenhower built a super highway system across the country. Now farmers in California could easily ship fruit to New York. A parts manufacturer in Michigan could ship parts to Texas. The overall system brought the country together. super highways let commerce gather steam across the country. Continued growth made the U.S. the leading nation in the world (Trump's goal.) But our growth continued. Next, in the 20th century, we developed relationships with countries large and small. Result, we became the greatest economic power in the world.
Do you want to return to Trump's outdated 19th century goals, or do you want to renew relationships with all who will work together for a better world? It's up to you.
