Trump’s dangerous management of foreign affairs

Why can't the Republicans in Congress get their man in the White House under control?
He just did a 'Tillerson” on Ambassador Nikki Haley: Cut the legs of credibility right out from under her - left her standing pathetically alone, an ineffectual fool in the eyes of the world because now her word is no longer trusted to represent whatever the position of the administration might be. A spokesperson is essentially neutered without the assurance that she or he has the backing of the boss.
Frankly, President Donald Trump is so hopelessly fickle on matters of foreign affairs that one is compelled to ask the question: What's the point to the U.S. having either a secretary of state or an ambassador to the United Nations?
