Trump wants to answer to no one

Voters should think carefully before putting former president Donald Trump back in the White House. His statements reveal he’s an authoritarian and will surround himself with “yes people” whose loyalty is not necessarily to the Constitution, but to him. I’ve heard him say he only trusts one person — himself. No human being has perfect judgment every time. That’s why the founding fathers made it a government of, by and for the people.
Retribution is what he indicates a second term will be about. When narcissists begin suffering the results of their own actions they call it persecution and act like a victim to get people on their side. That’s not persecution. It’s reaping what they’ve sown. He thinks he’s comparable to Christ but his speech and actions contradict much Christ said. Christ wouldn’t hurl the “F” word in campaign speeches or lie about visiting a murdered woman’s family. Trump did.
When he ran in 2016 I watched an occasion where a group was asking him questions. Afterward as the group was breaking up he said, “We’re going to change the way we do government.” I think this is one time he can be believed.
Listening to him now, it’s becoming more apparent what he wants a government where essentially one man, surrounded by handpicked puppets, rules. Now he wants complete immunity so he can do as he pleases, answer to no one, and get away with it. No one should be above the law, including him.
