Trump is no Reagan

In 1987 President Reagan famously said, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" Here in 2025 President Trump seems to be saying, in effect, "Mr. Putin, how much of Ukraine do you want?"
Reagan challenged authoritarian rulers while supporting and defending freedom and democracy. Reagan strengthened relationships and alliances around the world. Here at home, Reagan respected the rule of law and separation of powers while leading with a positive and unifying message for all Americans. Republican Reagan built relationships and "reached across the aisle" to Democrats in order to get results for the American people. Donald Trump — you are no Ronald Reagan.
