Please offer my congratulations to letter writer/Trump supporter, Robin Skogman, who celebrated Trump’s Electoral College win by writing to fellow citizens who voted for Harris: “Na na na na na boo-boo, stick your head in doo doo!”
What a lovely, unifying sentiment.
I do just want to point out, though, that Trump did not win a majority of the American public’s votes, as Skogman claimed.
As of today’s Cook Political Report, with many votes yet uncounted, Trump has garnered only 49.8% of the vote, while Harris won 48.3%. Trump has not won a majority; and his share of the vote is very far indeed from being the ‘mandate’ or ‘landslide’ that the GOP claims.
Best wishes to everyone who voted.
