Trump economy is a roaring bonfire

'It's the economy, stupid.”
A straightforward statement and a winning one attributed to James Carville in the 1992 election that helped Bill Clinton successfully unseat George Bush.
If you have a retirement plan, you want it to do as well as possible, don't you? You may be a Democrat, Republican or independent voter or non-voter. You may love, hate, or resist President Donald Trump. Whether you like it or not, you and your retirement plan are riding on the coattails of Trump's economy. Feels good, doesn't it? Most Americans vote with their wallet in mind. They want a friend, not a foe, in their battle for future economic security. Unless you have Trump Derangement Syndrome, the choice should already be pretty clear to you who to vote for in the 2020 election.
Our economy is a roaring bonfire! The smoking dumpster fire of Obama's milquetoast 'new normal” economy is history. Now, record low employment numbers, less people on welfare, higher wage increases, and most other economic indicators point upward.
The Democrats' rhetoric today? They use the old election playbook of gloom and doom. Page One- Create concern, uncertainty, fear, hate, and paranoia among voters with unfounded claims against their opponents- Russian collusion, racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, Islamaphobia, anti- this, and anti-that.
The Trump economy has been built on optimism- not negativity. He has kept his promises of Americans winning again. Americans want to go forward, not backward.
And you? Forward or backward? (Hint: 'It's the economy, stupid.”)
