Truly support troops with prayers, donations

While liberals posture and bloviate over the worth of our armed forces and the vital missions they perform at great sacrifice, we in our relative safety and comfort should increase our material and spiritual support to these great Americans.

I recommend cash donations to the United Service Organization, P.O. Box 96860, Washington, DC 20077. The USO offers our troops Operation Phone Home, Mobile Canteens, Operation USO Care Package, Operation Enduring Care, Entertainment Tours and Outreach to the Front Lines, and to their families the USO offers Overseas Community Centers, United Through Reading, Operation Mail Call and Family Centers (visit www.USO.org).

I also suggest a daily prayer asking for protection of all our men and women in military service and peace with victory founded upon justice. Instill in the hearts and minds of people everywhere a firm purpose to live forever in peace and good will toward all.
