True Christians need to practice their religion

Combining politics and Christmas makes for a depressing time of year.
It's freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. We each vote according to our own belief system. Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli, ratified unanimously by Congress in 1797, states: “As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion….” Christians don't need a “Christian nation” to practice Christianity! See persecution.com.
The only finger pointing rue Christians should do is when they are alone in front of a mirror. Looking at another person to lust after them, divorce, anger and calling another person names are sins, Matthew 6-7. God doesn't grade on a curve. Homosexuality is no different from any other sin. As God loved me, a sinner, so I am to love other sinners. Truth will set us free not the laws of country or denominations. Read Francis Schaeffer.
I Timothy 6:6-9. What would happen if every true Christian chief executive officer and president of a company refused their yearly bonus and hired just one new employee? True Christians need to practice their religion.
I accepted Christ as my savior in 1977. Philippians 2 is my guideline for living and I urge others to do the same. If Christians would remember Chapter 2 of James, Philippians, Ephesians, Galatians and Romans, perhaps they wouldn't feel the need to conduct a cultural war.
