Traffic tickets created to make money

Coming soon to you: a new type of traffic ticket.
The City of Waterloo passed a new city ordinance creating city traffic tickets and fines. The main reason for these tickets. Money!
The city tickets will be cheaper and will not affect your driving record or insurance. It won't make the streets safer or you a better driver. It just gives the city a new way to take more of your money. Take a look at the ticket-able offenses. You will be surprised. The Waterloo police are going to be busy writing city tickets.
I predict Cedar Rapids will have city tickets in less than three months. Just think of these new traffic tickets as a tax increase.
