Traffic cameras make Cedar Rapids 'cold-hearted' for visitors

Unfortunately for my family and me, we have to drive through your flat state to get from Minnesota to Missouri to visit my older sister. I'm so mad I could spit. I just received in the mail a speeding ticket from the City of Cedar Rapids.
It's a dirty, sneaky, low-down trick to raise more money for your city. I used my cruise control my entire trip to Missouri and back because everyone knows “how Iowa is.” Apparently on my approach to the city limits, when the speed limit drops from 70 to 55 mph, you got me! I didn't slow down fast enough and now have a speeding ticket for $75. Obviously, I'm from out of state and am not driving back down there to fight it. Way to welcome tourisim.
We were actually entertaining a trip to Iowa next year for our annual sisters trip. Not anymore, you inhospitable, cold-hearted devils. You allowed your city to do this.
