Traffic cameras create safer environment

I am a senior citizen living in a rural community where traffic problems are minimal. Since Cedar Rapids installed the traffic cameras, I don't feel nearly as threatened by people who seem to enjoy exhibiting their driving “skills” by speeding and weaving through vehicles traveling at the posted speed.
Thank you, Cedar Rapids, for creating a safer, friendlier and more accommodating environment. I, and no doubt thousands of others like me, are more apt to patronize your city.
