Traffic camera laws are unconstitutional
Jan. 24, 2010 11:48 pm
Regarding Ben Stone's Jan. 18 article, “Invasion of the traffic cameras”: I listened to three lawyers on Fox News address the problem.
1. It is unconstitutional.
2. The officer must hand the ticket for a moving violation to the offender.
3. The ticket cannot be sent through the mail. It is a violation of state law.
4. Shortening the time of the yellow light has resulted in law suits.
5. It is a proven fact, for obvious reasons, some have shortened the timing of the yellow light.
The information Stone shared agrees with the lawyers on Fox News. Whatever happened to government of, by and for the people?
