City Manager Jim Prosser is wrong about not using Westdale Mall) for replacing flooded public buildings). We could save $100 million or more by using Westdale Mall.
Move the city government, county, school board and library to Westdale in a partnership. Even if you spent $80 million, the savings would be tremendous, and designate the outlying area for expansion or sale.
Plenty of parking and one location for all would be very practical. Of course, it would take a lot of common sense to accomplish this idea. They all want their own new buildings at a cost of, what, $200 million?
It's too bad these people can't learn to play together.
