In a political season of charges, counter charges and acrimony, it is good to have a candidate one can support wholeheartedly, Tom Miller for attorney general.
He has a proven record of accomplishment protecting the people of Iowa, is nationally recognized for leadership and quality of service. He has served as the “people's lawyer.”
He led the Iowa Legislature to create a new law punishing use of the Internet to entice children into abuse, thus making Iowa safer for children.
He has kept violent sexual predators behind bars for longer than they were sentenced. Under his leadership a law was passed that keeps guns out of the hands of domestic abusers.
He has called on the country's three biggest mortgage lenders to cease foreclosures until an investigation has been completed. He has saved the homes of over 12,000 Iowans.
Tom Miller has done a good job for the people of Iowa.
His opponent, Brenna Findlay, worked for seven years for right-wing congressman, Steve King, as his chief of staff. She lived for years in Silicon Valley and inside the D.C. Beltway and now comes to Iowa to run for public office.
What a contrast to Tom Miller who has lived and worked in Iowa for the people of Iowa. He eminently deserves re-election to continue his good work on our behalf.
