Time to vote like the future depends on it

The American people are being duped by this new form of capitalism, which appears to have no bounds and is driven by greed.
Am I dreaming or did I hear the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which at one time was an honest broker for the concerns of the businesses of America, has sold its reputation cheap to the world? This is an effort to influence our government through purchasing political attack ads.
And who would have ever given power equivalent to an individual's vote to a corporation? Ah, that was the Supreme Court.
Now we stand like deer caught in the headlights of the very businesses that shipped our jobs overseas. They have returned not to bring us employment, but, through our own corrupted system, to pick our bones clean by buying our elections.
How naive it sounds today for us to hope for campaign finance reform, term limits or even representation. Can it get any worse? The answer is yes.
I was an independent all my life, then came George Junior and I went down and signed up as a Democrat.
There are a lot of things we don't know and should. However, given the takeover of what used to be a proud political party and the replacement of the public interest with the word no, there is no choice but to vote as if our lives and the future depends on it. I believe it does.
