Time to live with casino decision and move on

I have been reading the many articles about the failure of Cedar Rapids to get their casino. I have no strong feelings either way on the decision that was made, but I do get tired of all the whining by the officials of Cedar Rapids.
All of a sudden the rules should be changed. Why didn't the city officials opt to change the rules earlier? It is very simple - the backers of the Cedar Rapids casino thought that they had the political edge on the vote.
Being a past legislator doesn't give you a political edge, Mayor Ron Corbett. Live with the decision and move on.
