Time to elect a female president

To the editor:
Hillary Clinton has finally gotten something right: it's time for a woman president.
‘Bout time some say; half the population is female. Consider three groups of voters:
Group One is a large number of people, women and men alike, whose sole motivation to vote in next year's presidential election is to elect the first woman president. Many of these people have no criteria other than gender to guide them to their choice. The nomination of a male to run against her would leave these people no option; they would all have to vote for Hillary.
Group Two are those people who, for real or imagined reasons, specifically don't want Hillary Clinton be that choice; they will select any alternative.
Finally, there are those who, for the most part, could not care less about gender. These people, perhaps you, want a candidate, Republican or Democrat, who is honest, able, experienced, visionary and proven to have the leadership skills and experience to get things done.
At the same time, after the anguishing experience of the past 15 years, these people want out from under the crushing control of politicians and bureaucrats. Many of these people, like me, feel it's time to elect someone other than a politician whose primary goal seems to be re-election, power and control.
Carly Fiorina is literally the only GOP candidate with all the qualities I want in our next president who can earn a share of the votes from Group One because guess what? She's a woman.
