Those in the know should lead Marion’s future

I grew up in and around Marion. I see disaster to come to the hometown. The engineers and City Council don't know the area they are reigning over. We who grew up here and see the floodplains filled in, not finished five years later, well, Marion should be responsible for irresponsible developers.
In north Marion, an unfinished, going-nowhere development is a disaster they can't see. It's a nightmare of the flooding to come. When residents ask the city's help, they say sue the developer, we are done.
Tell me what is wrong here. Let the people who know the area lead.
