Think what else city could do with $500,000

To quote a Feb. 20 Gazette story, “Mark Jones, the city's solid waste superintendent, says the city has received perhaps three complaints about Yardys since 2002.” Therefore, it makes sense (not) for the City Council to contemplate spending more than a half-million dollars modifying something that very probably does not need modifying. Let's see, what else could we do with half a million?
