Things don’t change when it comes to keeping kids safe

I am 81 years old. When I was in elementary school, we had drills where we hid under our desks to protect from possible incoming Russian missiles. These days our school children hide under desks to protect against an active shooter. What a sad state of affairs for our country and its younger generation!
