Thief won’t ruin Christmas spirit

One of the many things we enjoy about the holiday season is displaying bright lights and decorations on our house and lawn.
Our display is meager but still something that our grandchildren, friends and neighbors enjoy. It brightens the lawn, as well as the spirit.
It's just another way we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
This year we expanded our display and added a beautiful lighted train. It had Santa at the controls in the front of the train, pulling three lighted train cars behind him. Evidently someone else liked it because it was stolen almost immediately after putting it out.
I have a hard time believing someone would stoop that low, but it is gone. Whoever stole it, I sure hope you enjoy what somebody else worked for.
I will not let this dampen my Christmas spirit, and I even will wish the thief a Merry Christmas.
