There will be a Rapture, we just don’t know when

I know that the Rapture story is quickly becoming old news. But Harold Camping was correct. The Rapture is coming. That's where his credibility ends.
Since the Bible clearly states in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 that no one knows the day nor the hour except our heavenly Father, Camping is on dangerous ground,
announcing that he knows when the end will come.
In Second Peter, the Bible talks about scoffers. There always has been and always will be scoffers and certainly there were scoffers in the wake of Camping's announcement. In Second Timothy, the Bible tells us that in the last days, there will be perilous times and we know that there will be natural disasters of all kinds.
So in that respect, Camping was on the right track, but this period of the world's existence could span many years.
The most serious mistake Camping made is in Romans 14. He has caused thousands to stumble. By making this false prediction, many may have accepted Christ, but when they discovered they were duped, most likely they will go back to their old ways and never come to Jesus.
I pray that the events in this world today will cause many to see what God's Word says about it. If you have thousands of dollars to spare, spread the truth according to God's word and don't try to paraphrase it. It will speak for itself.
