Theater Cedar Rapids’ ‘Hunchback’ was amazing

I had the opportunity to attend two performances of 'The Hunchback of Nortre Dame” at Theatre Cedar Rapids. The first time was during opening weekend. The second was the final performance of the show on May 26. Both shows were flawless.

Each cast member was a perfect fit for their role. The performers in the leading roles, as well as the additional actors, singers, and dancers, gave excellent performances. The lighting, scenery and costumes were superb. Each scene was timed to perfection. Is there any more that I can say about this marvelous show that had us drawn into the powerful story line from the first moment?

It was hard to believe that I was sitting in the audience at a performance in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It seemed as if this show was being presented to us from a big city like Chicago. Congratulations, Theatre Cedar Rapids, for an amazing production.
