The worst hypocrites are Republicans

I find the worst hypocrites in the conservative religious Republican Iowa lawmakers. They make a big blow about being “pro-life” (anti-abortion, anti-birth control). But if they truly cared about the “sanctity of life” they’d demand there be speed and stop sign enforcement cameras along every highway, at every intersection, even hidden, and mobile cameras to catch motorized killers and prevent crashes and fatalities.

Instead, they work the opposite, by trying to completely ban such effective enforcement (but that effort failed,) so they cleverly weaken or “regulate” them to effectively neuter the cameras, because they’re afraid of getting zapped when they drive their personal vehicles and because they get their election funding from Big Money/Big Business/Big Trucking and places that don’t want any traffic enforcement. They have plenty of lame excuses for their actions, even though crash and fatality rates have gone down everywhere such cameras have been in use. They ignore evidence. The victims of speed, careless, aggressive and distracted driving are just as dead as aborted fetuses.

There’s nothing in the Bible that says you cannot drive your vehicle as fast as it will go, so the religionists find nothing wrong with the murder that comes from motor vehicle crashes. They always blame the weather or the road. The writers of the Bible didn’t foresee a time when everyone will use a deadly machine when traveling that is capable of taking other lives. The only narrow-minded thing they know is their tyrannical control over women's’ wombs.
